Do I Hear Your Voice

Unfortunately, due to unexpected circumstances we have had to cancel the event schedule for 4/23. We are very much hoping that we can reconvene soon and come together for a more extended period of time.
I want to thank you for your registration and for being a part of our SheLeadsEdu community.

If you have pre-paid for the event look for a refund shortly.

Ladies it has been two years of crazy and it is time to breathe deep, do more than survive, and come together to learn, dream, laugh, and think about what is next for us all. Join us for a day of connecting, conversing, and reflecting. This line up is amazing and it will not disappoint.

Join us April 23rd

Our Keynote Speaker

This is all about honoring the women who serve the education industry through support, humor, career coaching, connection, and more. We are bringing you Angela Stockman as our keynote. If you don’t know Angela you will find her story inspiring and her work comforting.

Our Spotlight Speaker

We welcome our spotlight speaker, Linda Cavazos. Linda is a Clark County Nevada School Board Member, Fellow with the Everytown Survivor Network, and Membership Lead of the Nevada chapter of Moms Demand Action. Finding and using our voice with purpose. That is part of what today is about. Linda is an inspiring example for us all.

The last two years have pushed, pulled, shaped, reshaped, crushed, and inspired. Our question to you is this: Are you angry yet? Now more than ever we need to lift up the women who serve education, create a seat for everyone at the table, and support bold moves that inspire our peers, our learners, and the greater educational community.

The Line Up of Breakout of the Box Experiences

This will be facilitated and open discussions that are geared at answering questions, sharing resources, and most importantly connecting with others.

  • Our favorite Rachel from Woken will facilitate a session on career exploration and navigation networking (LinkedIn strategies, career exploration, negotiating your new position, etc.)
  • Our own Pam Moran, author and inspiring leader, along with the amazing Cate Han (an awe inspiring founder at the Hudson Lab School) will facilitated a session on Radical redesign: how can we use space, time, and resources different to serve all learners?
  • We cannot wait to hear from Laurie McCullough as she facilities a session on Policy and Why you should engage in the conversation (p.s. our own hell raiser Jody Britten will be joining this one to share some of her work with coalition building and taking policy to the floor).
  • So many of us are parents as well as educators. Join author, leader, and straight shooter Maribeth Edmunds and our own Missy Emler as they facilitate our breakout on parenting and advocacy while educating.

We kick off at 11am ET and will spend the day learning, talking, and walking away with new ideas, new strategies, and new ways of being women in education.
